Plants use photosynthesis which is pretty much the opposite equation to aerobic respiration. Which happens in the chloroplasts in palisade cells :)
Actually...plants still use respiration. Photosynthesis simply provides another means of obtaining energy. Why else would plants still have good old Mito's in em. Also Palisade cells aren't the only plant cell that has chloroplasts in them, they just have higher amounts of chloroplasts due to being close to the surface/sun.
I still remember learning this like 2 years ago. xDD I loved it. xD
