however on the other hand, i am tweaking with it right now. i am working on getting more ram so i can upgrade to windows 7 64 bit and i am working on tweaking a console based linux distro. i took what little knowledge of linux commands i had and downloaded and burned a copy of slackware. i have gotten it installed and i've gotten the desktop up but i am working on configuring my modem so i can install programs and surf the web. i should have it solved by the end of today. (there are tons of linux distros (distrobutions) but the difference between a console based and GUI (graphic user interface) is that GUI is more user friendly and console can be used by noobs to linux but it is better to have background knowlage of linux before trying a console based version. i also want to say that it isn't that hard if you know what your doing and follow the instructions.)
