This isnt a balance issue, this was a bug issue related to an oversight with some bigger internal combat changes. I cant give definite specifics, but its because of a bug- Not a balance issue.
Daze Pot can multi hit and is not disappearing on hit like it normally would. For some reason, the radius also broke, so its actually smaller (which is kinda nice).
But basically, Daze Pot normally does either 5 or 7 damage, based on if you hit with splash or if you hit a player directly with the potion. In most games I have been playing, Daze Pot has been consistently hitting 3-4 times- So instead of 5 or 7 damage, its 15-20 or 21-28.
This makes it comfortably 2-3 shot most kits, even with regen- And at 5+ hits, you start getting 1-shot-kills from full health against lower armor kits.
