CSGO is more balanced than MS, yes, but it seems like the only way people can think of balancing MS is just copying CSGO in every way possible.
People have thrown a fit over things like being able to buy helmets separately and reserve ammo, even when they are not issues in Minestrike, simply because it doesn't match MS. For that reason, I don't see it as 'CSGO is more balanced so if there is a problem lets look at what CSGO has and replicate that in some way' as much as it is 'MINESTRIKE NEEDS TO BE A PERFECT CSGO REPLICATE REEEEEEEEE'
Yeah, i don't understand either why people think MS needs to be a CS-GO copy, and F5ing is a perfect example of that.
There's no realistic way to disable F5ing, and its hard to catch, so why not just accept it as a part of the game? There's plenty of shooting games where playing in 3rd person is a big part of it (PUBG comes to mind), so why not think of it as just a game mechanic. It's something CS-GO doesn't have, so there's one reason to play MS over CS-GO (not that it's already massively weighed on CS-GO's side because its a standalone game).
True, although I think the main issue people have with F5 is that it can be rather frustrating to deal with, and people abuse it quite a bit (I.E. Sitting by a choke with F5 to know when someone is coming and exactly where to aim, etc.).
