I've always wanted to be a DND's Dungeon Master...
But is friendless so I can't.

Oh well.

You can find online groups
Are you running your own adventure or a module? I'm running Out of the Abyss right now for my group and it's great for all of us

My own adventure, because 1. I'm a cheapskate and 2. Running your own gives more creative freedom
I'm not creative enough to come up w/ my own, also the normal DM is having me run it just so she can play a character
You dont really need to be that creative. You can always run something pretty basic short-term, like uhhhh party gets hired to escort a trade caravan and then gets attacked by bandits, or orcs, or something- and then have tracks or something leading to a larger amount of whatever, and then continue doing that. Its not particularly thought provoking for the players, but still fun.
You can also use tools like the DM guide, where it pretty much lets you roll to get a villain o organization, see what kind, see what their plan is, etc.
