For multiple batches we've accepted as long as 3 people. We received a lot of great applications from a lot of great applicants this week. Our standards are the same, the people are not. ;P
I am in no way implying that these aren't some great applicants, because they are, but you seem a little lenient in terms of accepting, I'm just saying you should maybe change a few things around, make it so only the best of the best get accepted, not the people who have a half decent application ;3 This is not meant as an insult in any form, just a suggestion
They look into applicants a lot more than just their application. They go through their wall, forum posts, activity, communication skills, their personality, etc. Someone who has an amazing application yet lacks in the other areas wouldn't be accepted.
Also, I think they are fine how it is. It's worked for the last few months, and I feel it will continue to.
Well, what someone posts on their wall shows their personality and what they are like in general. If someone constantly is immature and writes hateful things on their wall, it's important to know as CA wouldn't want someone like that in the program.
So, to you, if a person says on their wall they hate Donald Trump, you don't want them in CA? Because they don't like one person not even affiliated with CA or Mineplex, but they said they hated him on their wall, you wouldn't accept them? Also, I am finding your arguments quite...invalid, no offense, I just don't see how it is supposed to counteract mine.
As I said in my reply, if someone is constantly immature or saying things such as hateful remarks than CA wouldn't accept them. With your example regarding Donald Trump, then that wouldn't really affect much as, like you said, it's not affiliated with CA or Mineplex.
CA looks are their wall posts to get a grasp of their personality. I don't really see why that should change?
It's just that it's their wall, they post what they want to share stuff with friends, you can't make a judgement from that, someone might be very mature and informative when helping, but immature on their wall. What would you do then?
Well, it's really depends. If everything else is good, they most likely will still be accepted. They don't need to be perfect in all areas CA looks at, just looking across all of them gives them an idea of their personality and what they are like in general.
A case like that ever came up in my 3 or so months on Recruitment, so it really doesn't happen as often as you think.
