In IPA the way Seth pronounces it is more like an "a" sound which in a simpler term sounds more "proper". The way Matt says your name and how I now say your name is more like an "æ" which sounds more nasily i guess
Mmm, either way is really fine in that case. It's like a potato/potato sort of thing. I just personally pronounce it like Seth does, so that's how I defined it as "proper".
But some people pronounce it as "xanarama" or "xanamara"...
