Have you made several archery stories? Like your RPC first realizing he wants to learn how to use a bow, sucking at it for a while, then getting slowly better, then culminating with a lot better aim? That'd help.

Yeah, it needs to be drawn out and have some RP reason behind it. Perhaps something like this is going on in your character's mind:

"I've used blowdarts before. How hard could a bow and arrow be?"
*a day later*
"... This might take longer than I thought..."

You should train with as many well-known archers as possible and practice as much as you can. Your archery skill should be well near the top three if not in it. This will take much longer than a few hours of work. I could help you construct a sort of archery range/arena for you to practice in. That would surely bring attention and help your cause, but remember people have tried to get creeds and classes added for free before, and they will again. Hardly any have succeeded and many have failed even after months and months of dedicated RP. I wish the best of luck to you, and I advise that you not go and outright ask the admins for it.
