1.7 and 1.8 are not the EXACT same; I know that this factor affects PvP in a negligible way, but the fishing rod + bow pullback textures are affected in 1.8 (they're more zoomed in). And people have already mentioned the hit detection; go on badlion with 1.7, then with 1.8. Tell me if you feel any difference.
