This is just a PSA for all of you out there who think that it's ok to harass someone who did something wrong, especially if it was to someone else and didn't involve you at all. They are a person too, and they make mistakes. NOBODY deserves to be treated terribly and harassed nonstop, so why don't you all just take a deep breath, and go back to minding your own business.

I've tried several times, but due to issues in my life I couldn't go through with the interview, but to pass the written one is rather easy. Be yourself in writing. Use concise word choice so they know what you are trying to say. The longer the paragraph the better you are in general, as long as you don't fill it with fluff. Tell them about yourself. Make them want you to be on the team. I told them about my Glory of Missouri award, which very few people got (less than 100 per year I believe), and I think that helped. I told them that I volunteered. It can't hurt to share accomplishments. Don't think your being immodest or whatever, they want to know about you.

I just realized that I probably now have the time to be trainee, especially cuz it's summer, but I want to last past summer if I can (if I get accepted of course).

cRITIQUE !

I heard that you should not fight the barrier you face when animating simplistic characters.

Do not add curves to the characters because there is something pleasing when seeing a character with some kind of inability.

Like how the Lego Movie did not make the characters move in ways that a real lego character could not. Which is why people were wondering if the Lego Movie was stop-motion animated even though it was completely CGI.

The pixels on the hair should be square and the arms should not curve but make a vertex (but the angle of which the arms are bending could be anything).

Your older renders do not have these curves yet look a lot nicer to look at because you do not see anything that is not abnormal about them.
