Demoted
Well, before I state why I was demoted from the staff team I want to make this clear. In no way am I angry at the staff team, I completely respect their decision to remove me from the team. I am
NOT leaking any staff documents.
I want to talk about my journey at Mineplex as a staff member.
I was accepted on a sunny Saturday morning when I was over at my friends place. I was trying to get the Teamspeak on my laptop to work so I could attend the TAP but I couldn’t make it go xD
I then got the funniest message from my friend
TheBrouhaha it stated,
“OA;LSIDKFN;LAKSJDLFASDF” when I saw this I though,
“Wow, why would he spam. Unless something had happened?” Then my Enjin blew up xD I had so many people congratulating me. Friends, staff member and people I didn’t even know all congratulating me on achieving my dream rank. Trainee.
On the 24th of September, 20 days into my trial I asked for a mentor change from FlySam. I got KiraBerry as a mentor and I’ve loved every second of being a Mintie. I was sad to leave FlySam but I felt that I’d get more out of having a different mentor and I feel I did. Being with Kira has been amazing, I’ve been able to talk to her about everything and she’s just a great mentor <3
I hit 5,000 profile views on 14th of October, this was an amazing milestone for me. I had never thought I’d reach such a large number. This was only made possible because of you guys and I was really lucky to be able to have you guys. <3 Soon after this I hit 1,000 Enjin friends, 21st of October. This again was a huge milestone for me and I can’t believe this actually happened.
I got accepted onto the Applications sub team on the 30th of October. It was an amazing honour and I’ve loved every second of being on the team. I was accepted onto apps along with one of my batch buddies
Zeffervescent so we’re double batch buddies xP Being on apps was amazing, I loved the hangouts which they organised even though I couldn’t attend most of them (ugh timezones)
I took my EoT on the 14th of November and after the success of two of my batch

BurpingBob I was thinking confidently. The week long wait was agonising and I could feel my confidence slipping away everyday. I was expecting my results on the Saturday but I didn’t which was fine. Then I went to bed and woke up with so many Skype messages. As they loaded I saw a little part of the message from Diar,
“Hey there!
I'm sorry to inform you”
When I read this I felt my stomach drop. I knew what had happened. Loading up forums I saw how many notifications I had. I didn’t want to click them, because I knew when I did that it’d be the end. I clicked them. Brought straight to my homepage I saw my site tags and my heart broke. I was a Hero again. The comments on my wall were kind, confused and sad. I felt like I’d failed you guys by not being a better Trainee. I remember having people tell me,
“Don’t worry, you’ll make this.”
And I know I’ve failed every single one of you.
That’s been my journey as a Trainee. It’s been hard but I loved every second of it.
MENTORS
FlySam
My first mentor was FlySam, he was kind and his mentees were all really sweet and good people but I didn’t feel like I was getting enough out of being a Trainee while I was with him. So I asked for a mentor change.
KiraBerry
Kira was my second mentor but she’s taught me so much. I could always go to her for anything. She’s amazing in general and she is simply lovely. I’ve been so lucky to be able to be a Mintie <3

mishymolly my good friend, we’ve known each other for three years now and even though we’ve gone through rough patches I know how lucky I am to know you. I can’t wait for you to become a Moderator <3
WowKay ewww, smelly. xP My good friend, we’ve grown really close and I happy to have had your guidance through most of my trial. You’ve helped in application and you’ve set a great example for me. Our weird convos and staying up till four in the morning watching Sword Art Online has been great. Thanks for being there for me <3
Doubt wow, we’ve been through a lot together. Good and bad but I’m glad we have our friendship. You’ve always supported me and you’ve known me from before I started my trial. I’ve been so lucky to know someone like you <3

Favourite memories
During my time as a Trainee I’ve had many great memories. I can’t state all of them as there are wayyyy too many xP
Banning my first hacker, cliche I know.
I was with my friend
TheBrouhaha we were playing together when he got a hacker call. I had previously been telling him how I was worried I hadn’t made any SR’s so he suggested that I come along and record and ban the hacker. It was in a game of SG and it was honestly so amazing, everyone thought it was him who banned the hacker but it was me xD
My second favourite memory was when I got accepted onto the Applications team. I remember I had stayed up till three in the morning writing it and in the end it was 1.4K words. When I found out I was in shock, I got into my dream sub team and I was finally going to be able to contribute more to the staff team.
My third favourite memory is just being able to interact with you guys, wether it’s over Forums, Teamspeak or in game. You guys have been the best and I’m excited to be embarking on a new journey with you <3

Reason for demotion
The simple reason is that I didn’t pass my EoT. I got the score of 66% when the passing grade is 75% at this point I could still have become a Moderator if the rest of my Trial was good. I was complimented on “excellent QOTD answers” but I had a lack of SRs and they said
"You absolutely had a great knowledge of all areas, but need to keep up more contact with your mentor, and stay motivated throughout all of your trial.”
