Hey everyone!
Unfortunately, I won’t have internet from Friday 5th August to Tuesday 9th August (exam results day for me ooh :0) I definitely won’t be in-game and I most likely won’t be able to reply to messages.
The reason for this is because I’m moving house. I’m moving from Scotland to England which is pretty exciting. Having lived here my whole life it’s going to be a bit odd to move somewhere completely different. Honestly, I can’t wait to move and have a fresh start. Ever since I became a trainee, things have just been getting so much better and I’m genuinely happy. I haven’t had the most easiest past few years and I never imagined that things would get better. I’m currently at a point where there is so much change. For the past few years I’ve just been used to going to school all the time and now that I have left school, so many things are happening and it’s just exciting haha.
Also, I’ve nearly been a trainee for a month now :0 I love every single minute of being a trainee and I’m so glad that I never gave up on my applications because I would’ve missed out on one of the best opportunities. Everyday I get the opportunity to talk to so many people from all around the world and being able to help people is the best feeling.
We will surely miss you here! But anyways, want to wish you a safe moving of houses and a quick stabilisation/ adjustment in your new environment! Stay safe and good luck on achieving Moderator!
I remember the old time, when I had you as a friend on Mineplex. I also remember, that you were not online for a really long time on Mineplex. In Autumn I saw you randomly on another server On the picture you are offline.
Since some weeks I was surprised about the fact, that you are online very often now!
That's cool!
Yesterday you joined my lobby and I was confused, because you had /msg and /party disabled. I asked you, why you didn't enabled them. Then you wrote in chat with your awesome Trainee Rank
tag.
I didn't expect, that you become a Trainee so early, but it's super-super-cool!
I'm really happy for you
I also wish you good luck on Level 80
I'm pretty close to it My level right now
Awwww omg this is so nice, thank you for making my day <3 You're such a nice person. Ooh good luck on level 80! I was really active last summer and then school and exams happened. I guess I was actually pretty close to becoming a trainee last summer, I just never told anyone What is the main game you play on Mineplex now?
I’ve now been a trainee for one week :0 During this week I’ve definitely learnt a lot. The first day was a bit overwhelming. When you go from just playing games etc. to having all these responsibilities it’s a little bit odd at first and it takes some time to get used to. I can now say that I feel a lot more confident when dealing with various situations and I'm really enjoying my time as a trainee
In the past few days I've achieved two of my goals which were
1. Become a trainee
2. Reach level 60
Looks like I'm going to set myself some more goals now hmm.
As much as I'd like to, I can't really sit for ages and get XP from BL like I used to as I have things to do haha
I submitted my first application on the 15th June 2015. Here I am on the 8th of July 2016 with an accepted application. I never thought that my third application would get accepted. I took the comments on my past applications seriously and put all my effort into improving. This meant that I had quite a long period of time between applications, however this was definitely beneficial in making sure that I was ready.
I'm super excited to be a part of the staff team and to help the community even more. During my time on Mineplex so far, I have met some of the nicest people and have made so many friends. Things like this increase my love for this community. When I was new to Mineplex or whenever I have a question in general, people are always happy to help and that inspires me to give back to the community. I'm going to try my absolute best, however please remember that at the end of the day I'm not perfect and I have a lot to learn.
I would like to thank everyone who has supported me and people who I've made friends with. There are too many people to include in a post and I don't want to feel bad if I leave someone out haha
Please feel free to message me at any time if you have a question, need help or just want to talk.
One step closer to 60! Level 60 has been my overall goal for quite a long time. Not sure if I'll be so interested in levels once I reach it, however I said that when I achieved 40 and look what happened haha.
Being rejected is unfortunately something which we all experience at some time.
Back in March, I got rejected from the two universities I wanted to go to. I had planned the next 4 years of my life there and I didn't think about any other options. The moment I got rejected I was pretty upset and disappointed. At the time, I thought that my whole life was falling apart and that I wouldn't go to university despite having three other offers. What made the rejections worse was that in my mock exams I had got the exact required grades, therefore making me feel pretty confident.
This sounds a bit odd, but I'm glad that I got rejected. The rejections allowed me to see an amazing opportunity that I didn't think about before. I'm currently holding a place for university in September, however I don't think I would be happy there and I feel like my exams went a lot better than I thought. This means that I'm probably taking a gap year!
Next month I will be moving around 400 miles away to a new town with my family. It's going to be interesting to experience a different way of life, as I'm used to living in a capital city. I can learn to drive, become more engaged with my chosen university course, spend time with family, get a job, save money and work on my communication skills. Hopefully, when I apply to the universities again I will be in a much better position and will have improved as a person.
Getting rejected from something isn't the end of the world. Sometimes it can be the start of something which you didn't even think about before
