“Don’t dwell on what went wrong. Instead, focus on what to do next. Spend your energy moving forward.

Relatable.

'Happiness is letting go of what you think your life is supposed to look like and celebrating everything that it is for.'

Don't have long left of work and I'm so excited. Excited to move onto the next chapter of my life. Excited to have so many new opportunities and make so many amazing memories.

My gap year is nearly over. I can't believe how quickly it has gone. This time last year, I was stressing about exams, stressing about what I was going to do, having no friends, stressing out about life. There was no need for that. I am confident. I can be independent. I spend too much time worrying about things. Worrying isn't going to change things. Sometimes people hurt you, sometimes bad things happen. Things work out in the end. Sometimes things happen for a reason and everything falls into place in the end.

If there's one thing I've learned, it's to do things which truly make you happy.

(Again Idk what this is)

You probably all know by now, but I have now joined Trainee Management as a mentor!

When I first became a staff member, I remember being terrified to even talk and go to my first trainee meeting on TeamSpeak. I had just left school. had no friends and very little confidence. I didn't even see myself making it past the interview stage due to the fact that I was scared. It truly is amazing to think about how much being on here has allowed me to develop my confidence and communication skills. I never even imagined becoming a mentor due to the fact that I wasn't very confident and couldn't even go on TS without freaking out. Don't be like me and think that because it holds you back from achieving your goals. You can do anything you put your mind to as long as you try your best and work hard (I'm sorry if this is cheesy, but it's true) Through being a TMA I have increased my confidence significantly. Sometimes just throwing yourself into a situation is the best way to do it. I wanted to push myself and I'm glad I did it. Additionally, I never knew what sub-teams interested me. Mentoring was always in the back of mind, I just didn't believe I could do it. I almost felt embarrassed to tell anyone about it. I thought they would laugh at me and tell me that I couldn't do it. Being a part of this community has allowed me to truly be myself. I believe that this is what has been such an important factor to me and has got me to where I am today.

I can’t wait to work with all current and future mentees. I would like to thank all of my mentees I’ve had as a TMA. Every single mentee teaches me something. This is one of the many things I love about mentoring. You are in a position where you are constantly meeting new people and learning new things. Each person is unique and brings new experiences and qualities. The dedication of each mentee is what inspires me. From the moment I became a TMA, I knew that it was the perfect role for me and I wanted to exceed in it as much as possible. I have worked so hard and to see all of that hard work pay off is such an amazing feeling. Being a mentor is such a rewarding role in that I get to see people succeed and achieve their goals with guidance from me. The interaction and the relationships you form through being a mentor are unlike anything else. It truly is an amazing experience to witness someone start off with little confidence to become so confident and enthusiastic about what they do. When I joined the staff team, I wanted to make a difference. Being a mentor is the way in which I can make my true positive influence on the server. Throwback to my post at New Years. I said that one of my goals for 2017 was to become a TMA. The first day of 2017 I became a TMA and now here on the 25th April I’m now a mentor.

All of this would not have been possible without
Shadowfox393
Without you I couldn't have done this. I’ve already said a lot of these things to you, so I won't repeat everything. It has been amazing to have been your TMA. I remember the first time you asked me to do a meeting I freaked out. However, I now know how much it helped. You pushed me to try new things and I'd like to thank you for that because I wouldn't have been able to do that by myself. I can talk to you about anything and I truly loved every single minute of being your TMA and just generally talking to you.

Shoutout out to the people who I couldn’t have done this without. Dean, Geothermal, Intox, Loxo, Frost, TM, all the TMA's, all of my mentees -insert more people here who I have probably forgotten-
