"the lgbt community is treating aces like straight people used to treat them!!" are you fucking kidding oh my fucking god literally gay ppl were violently murdered/beaten thrown out of their homes and having no where to go. were forced to live on the street. were refused help. were alone and surrounded by people who violently violently hated them. their deaths were celebrated by homophobes they were blamed for the aids crisis even though it was the homophobic pieces of shit that really set it in motion, refusing to help anyone with the virus, spreading lies that all you had to do was touch someone. drink from their water bottle. breathe too close to them to get sick. forced and abused into a life of heterosexuality hiding for most if not all of their lives. never feeling safe at anytime. knowing that one slip up and they could be killed.

gay and trans people lived a life where they could never feel safe, so how fucking dare you. a fucking cishet. even begin to compare angry fights on the internet to that. how fucking dare you act as though every single cishet aces life is horrible because they dont feel sexual attraction. because that literally does not matter. lgbt people are still facing these horrors everyday so why try to act like homophobia is over and its your turn to be in our place. why do you want it so badly?? why do you want to be hurt and killed and thrown out and bullied?? face facts that you. are a cis.het. and no lack of sexual attraction is changing that like fuck. die. you are the part of the people who tortured this community. past present and future. so yeah fuck cishet aces who think they're queer. you're not.

"fucking cishet" - I thought this post was directed towards homophobic people, but now you're only contributing to a greater divide amongst people. One previous person mentioned this and you started swearing at them like a child. Your aggression isn't helping your case, it's only feeding homophobic bigots to respond with their own aggression. Fighting fire with fire is never going to solve anything.

You need to be more calm and collected if you want your posts to have meaningful effect on anyone who doesn't already agree with you.

Also, I don't know why saying "fucking cishet" is offensive to all cishets? The word "fuck" in all its forms is commonly used in English language to express emphasis. I didn't say all cishets are pieces of shit or anything of the sort. Also #2, I snapped at the above comment not for the point they share with you, but for saying that I need to cite/source the continuous, constant, evident, and blatant deaths of lgbt people. Anyone with eyes can see that lgbt people are dying simply because of their queerness. That's what I was angry at. And I repeat, I refuse to be calm and collected at such disgusting disrespect for my people.

I'm glad you feel such a strong sense of community with other LGBTQ+ people. The fact of the matter is that people have been desensitised to murder and genocide, so say hello to murder detective tv shows and war video games and films.

People, generally those with a stronger sense of nationalism, don't care about others for lots of various reasons.

Additionally, profanities are widely known as a lack of ability to express oneself, usually when clouded by anger.

Now at no point did I say that you can't hate your ominous oppressors, be that bullies at school or bigots on the internet like the WCRM on enjin, but I am saying, as your friend eloquently put, "stop being mad!! ur giving str8 people reasons to hate u guys. dont fight hate with hate :^(((".

Enjin is providing you with a way to change the opinions of people who would otherwise be limited to bigotry in their community and live unaware of the consequences of their ideologies, which can ultimately change the symptom.

I do get what you're saying, like, perfectly understand it. But I don't think you quite understand that it's unfair to ask me to remain calm. It's like...when you see your boyfriend get shot right in front of you, or your sister, or your mum, are you expected to keep calm and collected and smile because if you panic or get angry or scared you'll "make things worse"? It's unfair.

Of course that's unfair, and heaps of people have to live with that, even cishets of different races in the USA for example. I'm not going to pretend I know what you've been through, and perhaps it's wrong of me to have assumed you are too young to have something like that happen to you.

Of course, there also needs to be a voice of reason, and you're in a good position for that - to understand that this is due to a lack of information and understanding between two groups of society.

Of course cishets everywhere face situations like that. That situation was only an example to make it more palpable to you as to why it makes me so rabid to see these things being said about the LGBT community. And when it comes to cishet aces, they know exactly what they're doing. They're trying to integrate themselves into a community that doesn't belong to them. That is private specifically to avoid having to have people like them nearby, and being able to live with comfort. That's why it tends to make people so mad.

These are people who aren't part of the community, mopping the floor with the real problems the community faces whilst trying to force themselves into the safe spaces. You must understand that to us, that feels like an invasion. It tends to set off our warning signs.
