Mineplex has always been really secretive of its sources and stuff like that. The most what everybody knows about GWEN and its data is from Kyoto and his goons, and that's not a lot. I'm thinking that from all these dox attacks and stuff that they are worried if their stuff will get into the wrong hands. Although this can be taken with a grain of salt, because API doesn't really have anything to do with GWEN. All I know is that they are afraid of something, and I'm pretty sure of it.
Hey! Were you in the official alpha Public API Discord server? I could've sworn I'd seen you there at one point...
Anyway, the API was permanently shut down (announced by Artix) after Phinary, the project leader, left due to personal time constraints (an internship at Riot Games.)
Thank you. This is exactly what I was looking for. I didn't even know Phinary left. Still a shame, but I hope that we can get some alternative. And no, I've never been apart of any API Discord server.
They reverted back the EU servers finally. I'm still not sure how they thought this was going to be good to the community as a test and not announce it
Not sure what direction I want to take my Commentary series on my channel. I want to move away from Mineplex, since there's only so much content there and my videos don't seem to have much effect on them, but still be relevant about Minecraft. Anyone have any good ideas?
This right here sums up so many problems with Mineplex.
Can't thank xNibsenough for writing this.
Also, is there any coincidence that you resigned one day after I was demoted?
Chiss is gone, EU is gone, CubeCraft has 5x more players than mineplex does. Next thing we'll see is mineplex shutting down in the next 4 months for sure, unless Hypixel buys them out. Which could happen.
I don't see Hypixel buying them out. There's not really anything to be gained from a business perspective. They'd be better off letting them die and basically just grandfathering in the most popular games on Mineplex.
What xNibs said. Hypixel is seeing the growing enthusiasm for the PE server. It might be bought out by them. I also saw your disagreements with mineplex lined up with JoJo's
No use fighting it anymore, but Mineplex is dying now. Closing EU is a sure sign the ship is sinking. I really had hoped it wouldn't have had to happened, but the server really is falling.
This was done for a test. In hindsight, it should have been announced more openly prior to release. We wanted players to try it before making a snap judgement. However, this was NOT DUE TO MONEY ISSUES lol. The majority of our EU players play on US servers already due to the community engagement and more players in general. We are looking at ways to increase community interaction and possibly relocating servers (not killing) to increase the community experience. As it has been stated already ping is a better representation of distance, not playability. I encourage people to play the games and check it out before jumping to conclusions. That being said if it makes it to where some of our EU players are not able to play consistently then we can switch it back just as easy. The main thing to keep in mind is to give constructive feedback and assistance so we can make it a better place for everyone to play and not go hateful and toxic. We are listening and monitoring feedback. Thanks!
Hearing that is nice, I appreciate you letting me know. If it's just a test, then that's cool. It just would be nice to know so that the commmunity doesn't have a freak out.
I can understand why EU players would play on US since there are more people on there, but I'm sure some still have to stay on EU due to bad ping for whatever reason that may be. As I've always said, I want Mineplex to be successful, so I'm glad to hear this isn't necessarily permanent. I'll make sure I stay up to date.
Seems odd, community engagement doesn't hold more water over ping in a minigame server. Sure, EU players played on NA, but they weren't playing serious minigames there.
It probably is money problems and it's probably going to be permanent.
2016 Retrospect (Unfinished)
Ok, ok I know it's February already. I actually had been working on this throughout December trying to get it ready for January 1, but I ended up never finishing it. I just decided not to post it because it was unfinished. But I decided to just throw you guys a bone and share what I had written anyways. It's half of my year, but probably the more interesting half anyway. It's definitely sappy but it doesn't really matter now anyway.
Also I'm probably not going to finish writing this, cause I just don't really find it worth it anymore. Anyway, here you go:
Well guys, here we are. Another year has passed us, and another one will be here shortly. And I must say, on a personal level, I think it's been one of the most interesting I've seen from both real-life and online aspects. A lot has happened to me this ye
Would be happy to do that and the trailer. Going to start researching on Airbending and will start scripting a network trailer video. Can't guarentee when they'll be done, but I'll make sure they're getting worked on.

Bridges Tournament 2017: Battle of the Bridges
Looking for Players to Join!
Mineplex has just announced a brand-new Bridges tournament, Battle of the Bridges, and I would love to form a team! For those who don't know, I previously had one in the 2015 tournament, but that was sadly cancelled by Mineplex LT. It would be awesome to get a team formed again for the new tournament.
If you're interested in taking part, check out my thread down below. I will be adding more information there about joining. I'm really looking forward to this! Thanks!
The Mineplex forum lets you share and discuss all things Minecraft related from games, maps, events, ideas, reports, and anything else on or off-topic!
Going back and looking all these old news posts on CoolCraft today. Man, it's pretty nostalgic. I'm still so proud of what I was able to accomplish there. Those were good times...
Thinking about jail-breaking my iPhone 5s when it's fully released on iOS 10.2. I'm kinda excited, not gonna lie. Any advice from anyone who's jailbroken iOS before?
I used to jailbreak my stuff all the time (and for my friends too), perhaps 5 or 6 years ago. You can certainly do some cool things with it, not sure how it is now though but 100% of the time it'd slow down my devices. Some games would be unplayable because of the lag spikes I'd get.
Just make sure to back up your data....and get an android next time lol
I jailbroke my iPod 4G way back when, so this might not apply. I got the Evasi0n jailbreak, and it worked well, since you still got Cydia and all the cool features, but nothing was illegal + it would warn you if packages were illegal.
Not gonna lie, I'm kinda glad that I ended up getting demoted from Mineplex. I've been so busy with school activities, friend events, schoolwork and vacations that it's great not having to worry about meeting quotas. It's allowed me to just enjoy life again without having that at the back of my head.
That being said, don't let that keep you from applying if you're considering. It's totally just a personal thing. And as you all know, I still love the team. Maybe someday I'll be back. <3
