While Minecraft was in beta Notch was invited to work with Valve (for noobs: they are the people that own Steam) and he "politely but firmly said, no". Markus Persson, You just earned my respect.

P.S. Don't get me wrong I love Valve, but the fact that someone denied the invite just moved him upto my Top 5 Legendaries, he just reached Lugia.
