bit late but the free museums (Natural History museum, Science museum (In that order, I love science but the other is cooler) they're right next to each other) there are other museums but those are big and free and literally next to eachother so

Does anyone know what would cause a resource pack to not 1) Be my default one when I launch mc and 2) Not accept custom inventories and stuff despite them being named properly?

i don't know about the default pack thing, whatever pack i last used when i closed mc is what is on when i launch mc

as for the custom inventory thing, if you mean you want most of the textures from a texture pack but you want the inventory to be default, you just have to find the right textures inside the files and delete it. if it doesn't have a texture it'll use the default minecraft texture
