Some random updates and other boring stuffs:

I'm back from my the trip I took last week, but I have been pretty busy thus far this week since I'm starting to work on my college applications and college essays and whatnot. I'm also going on another week long trip next week, so I'll be inactive again.

I'm probably not going to be overly active for the remainder of the summer, I probably had more free time during the school year actually ._.

But anyway, youtube is still on pause until I have significantly more time, I will be online in-game occasionally to grind those bawk bawk battles achievements, and I'll try to make some interesting wall posts every couple of days.

So this week I have been at a pre-college camp at a school near NYC called Stevens. I'm taking a class on computer science, but we have a lot of down time, and the camp is filled with a ton of nerds.

So pretty much all we do is pokemon go. Some funny stories from the past couple days:

Our professor is this 60-year-old guy, and he was really confused at first when he overheard our conversations. We eventually convinced him to download the game, and it's hilarious how confused he is over everything.

Yesterday at around 11:30pm everyone was hanging out in our dorms, when suddenly a dratini spawned one footstep outside of our dorm. Everyone went sprinting outside, and the counselors yelled at us but eventually realized it was pointless, and ended up just going with us to catch it themselves.

A couple of friends and I decided to drop three lures on some pokestops that were all in a triangle. Within ten minutes a crowd of 30+ people formed. The best part was when a cop in a cop car pulled up slowly, stopped, and then started catching pokemon too. I went over to talk to her and turns out being a cop is great for pokemon go since you can drive around to all the good spots.

But anyway I'll be back home and probably more active again on Sunday, so peace until then.

Pokemon Go is amazing, the community it has built in three days and the possibilities it holds are insane. I was at first skeptical, but after browsing the Pokemon Go subreddit and reading story upon story of people making friends, organizing groups of players, and working together to conquer gyms I figured I would give it a try.

The weather today was pretty dismal, so I was hoping there wouldn't be too many people outside to judge me. After biking around for a little bit I noticed a pokestop at a local fire station on my map. As I biked towards it I passed two guys on skateboards going suspiciously slow paying close attention to their phones while they rode. A bit after, I passed another two girls walking, also staring at their phones. As I finally approached the usually empty fire station, I was shocked to find 8-10 sitting on benches in front of the fire station, all playing Pokemon Go. At that point they had all seen me and it was too late to make a run for it. I eventually went over and joined the group and surprisingly enough I ended up having a good time with a bunch of random strangers because we all wanted to get three pokeballs.

Long story short: Pokemon Go is awesome and you should definitely try it if you haven't already

Today I was playing a game of master builders, and right when the game started my dad called me to go help with some chores. I came back 10 minutes later to this:



but like... I didn't even place a single block...

Now I remember why I usually don't play a game where the winner is decided by the players voting

Funny story time! Some background info: During the day I work as a camp counselor at a summer camp at a nearby school. It's pretty tiring but it's certainly not the worst job, and it pays pretty well.

Anyway, today I was on the playground with a group of little girls. I knew the name of most of the girls, but there was one whose name I didn't know. After I asked her what it was, she responded curtly, "My name is L".

At this point I was extremely confused. What kind of parent names their child just one letter? Maybe it's a nickname? What the heck could L be the nickname for? Does she take the L?

After a few questions I realized her name was actually spelled "Elle" and NOT "L", and I felt like a complete idiot.

Well anyway that's my story how I discovered I was dumb and how Minecraft ruined me!

Guess who bought a car today!

As promised, here's the video of me getting level 100. It turned out way way better than I was expecting, I still can't get over it all.

So my parents thought spending the weekend at my grandparents house would be dandy idea and of course I got dragged along (very unwillingly).

We aren't getting home until Monday and I'm quite salty that it's going to delay me getting level 100 by like 3-4 days :c (first world problems, I know)

But anyway I got level 98 before I left, and since I can't get a screenshot enjoy this instead

Who cares about all the kit progression stuff, I'm just super hyped about the default kit thing. The whole update is 100% worth it just because of that. Not choosing your class on time or forgetting to is really annoying, and even just having to constantly run and click every game is a pain.

While it's certainly no giant change, it was highly requested and I'm glad to see that Mineplex is listening to the community.
