A moving truck and a station wagon pulled into Littleroot, it was the new family in town,
A little boy and his mother with their husband and father at work as a gym leader in Petalburg. The boy's mother told her son to go see their fathers partner, Professor Birch's, house and see their little girl Mixa.
The grass flicked drops of water onto the boys shoes as he went between houses, the Machokes were unpacking everything in the house so he might as well have gone over.
The boys' name was simply Miles as a nickname, his real name had been forgotten long ago.
The doorbell rang and Mrs. Birch opened the door, she welcomed him in and asked him where he was from. Finally he was told to go upstairs to meet her, their child. The similar aged girl was standing in the mirror checking her green beanie and clothes, she had obviously been expecting him.
"Hi" she said nervously but also cheerfully "I'm Mixa. You must be our new neighbours! When my mum told me there was going to be a kid my age, I got so happy! There's not much kids here in Littleroot, it's all serious lab stuff." Miles stared at her. "Well I actually gotta get going, field work for my dad. See ya Miles"
