Most of the verbs have two words. The 2nd word is called a satellite and it kind of describes the word. An example would be the satellite klin is like extreme so badan op is to serve and badan klin is to swear loyalty to or fig au is to work something out something and fig raun is to think about something. You stick what you're talking about in between. An example of this in the show is when octavia says I laik octavia Kom skaikru en ai gaf in gouthru klin and Lincoln says gouthru klir! Octavia wanted to say I'm from skaikru and I want safe passage but instead she said she wants to commit suicide klin is extreme so she wants to go forever and klir means clean/safe so she wants a safe path. This doesn't need a word inbetween cause she's not referencing anything in the sentence. Another one you may know is jus drein jus daun literally translates to blood drinks blood. With drein daun meaning drink if i wanted to say I drink. I'd say ai drein daun but because I'm drinking blood specifically I'd say ai drein jus daun.
