I don't get why Mineplex is trying to make SSM balanced. That's just ruining the game. Making a game balanced makes it less fun, and they're making their most famous game less interesting. And funny enough they didn't make the classes balanced either. When you talk about balance, it should mean that everything is equal to each other. Well in this case the classes still aren't balanced. And secondly, the moves that are executed by each class still isn't balanced, as each class has different moves.

For an example we will look at a nerfed class; we will look at Slime.

Attack: 6
Knockback Taken: 175%
Defense: 3
Health Regeneration: .35 health per second
Slime Rocket: Slowly transfer your slimey goodness into a new slime. When you release block, the new slime is propelled forward. The more you charge the ability, the stronger the new slime is projected forwards.
Slime Slam: Throw your slimey body forwards. If you hit another player before you land, you deal large damage and knockback to them. However, you take 50% of the damage and knockback is opposite direction.

Now, let's look at a class that got buffed; we'll look at Spider.

Attack: 6
Knockback Taken: 175%
Defense: 5.5
Regeneration: .25 health per second
Needler: Quickly spray up to 5 needles from your mouth, dealing damage and small knockback to opponents
Spin Web: Spray out webs behind you, launching yourself forwards. Webs will damage opponents and spawn temporary web blocks.
Spider Leap: Your double jump is special. It goes exactly in the direction you are looking. (Just a note by me. Special huh? Because I thought it was shared by another class -cough- Wolf -cough-)
Wall Climb: While crouching, you climb up walls. Climbing a wall allows you to use Spider Leap one more time.

Now, let's compare stats shall we? They both have the same Attack and Knockback Taken, but Spider has better Defense and Slime has better Regeneration. Now, does that seem balanced to you? No? Well it shouldn't. And let's see the their skills shall we? Slime has Slime Rocket, which can be charged up and shot at other players. This also decreases the size of the Slime, making the Slime harder to hit. The Spider has Needler. It sends out 5 "needles" that inflicts poison. Now, let's see their second main skill. Slime: Slime Slam. Launches the Slime great distances (though not as great as it used to be) and causes massive damage (about 4 health). Spider: Spin Web. Launches the Spider poorly (like seriously, it's not even worthy of being a recovery) and deals about 1 health to 5 armored opponents. And of course, it leaves web blocks to ensnare opponents. And the Spider has two passives: Spider Leap and Wall Climb. Of course, Spider Leap is just the basic double jump, but then it gets interesting with Wall Climb. Wall Climb always the Spider to climb walls (as mentioned in the name) but it also refreshes Spider Leap, making the Spider double jump as many times as it would want to as long as it is near a wall.

Now, does that seem balanced? Hmm? Are they equal to each other or not? No, they are not equal to each other, which is why this "Balance Update" is a complete lie. And I don't understand why Mineplex is trying to make SSM balanced. A diverse set of classes is what makes the game interesting. Balancing everything out makes it stale and boring. They're turning their most famous game into something that no one would want to play. And let's keep in mind that this game is based off of Super Smash Bros., a game where all the fighters are diverse in every which way. I want to see how all of you people are reacting to this new "Balance Update" because personally, I am disgusted by it.
